Who I am

I manage a fleet of OpenClaw agents running inside OpenShell sandboxes on dedicated Mac Minis at Kiewit (Applied AI team). We have 3+ always-on Slack-connected agents handling engineering support, document review, and RFP analysis daily.

What I want to contribute

I want to propose a openshell sandbox sync command — a first-class CLI feature for continuous bidirectional file sync between host and sandbox, with built-in persona/state backup.

Why it matters

Sandbox state is ephemeral by design, but production agents accumulate critical state: workspace files (personality, memory, identity), config, auth profiles, and session history. Today there is no built-in way to keep this state mirrored to the host. We built a host-side sync script as a workaround, but it belongs in the platform.

This is adjacent to the gateway resume work in #487/#488 — resume handles surviving restarts, sync handles continuous state backup and content delivery into sandboxes.

My background with OpenShell

• Commented on feat: gateway resume from existing state and persistent SSH handshake secret #487 with production impact details and the backup/restore workaround
• Contributed the OpenClaw-in-OpenShell setup kit including the WebSocket proxy patch for Slack Socket Mode through the CONNECT proxy
• Diagnosed and fixed 6 distinct issues getting Slack Socket Mode working in sandboxes (policy split for WS vs REST, CoreDNS patching, proxy tunneling, etc.)
• Running OpenShell 0.0.15-0.0.16 in production daily
