Can't access github copilot claude models like opus 4.5 and opus 4.6 after i upgraded my student plan to pro plan, any help would be appreciated.

ps:ive tried refreshing already.

Hey there!

This is a known issue that a few people have run into after upgrading plans. Here are some things you can try:

1. Sign out and sign back in
   Your session might still be using your old plan's entitlements. In VS Code:

• Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P)
• Search for "GitHub Copilot: Sign Out"
• Sign back in

2. Check your subscription is fully active -
   Go to https://github.com/settings/copilot and confirm your Pro plan is showing as active (not pending or in a trial state).

3. Update VS Code and the Copilot extension -
   Claude models in Copilot are a newer addition so make sure both VS Code and the GitHub Copilot/Copilot Chat extensions are on the latest version.

4. Try switching models manually -
   In the chat panel, click the model dropdown and see what's listed. If Claude models don't appear at all, it may take a little time after the plan upgrade for the new models to become available.

5. Clear the Copilot cache -
   Sometimes a stale cache causes issues. Try:

• Ctrl+Shift+P → "GitHub Copilot: Reset Copilot"
• Reload the window after

If none of that works, it could be a backend provisioning delay on GitHub's side — especially right after a plan change. Give it a few hours and try again. If it's still not working after that, opening a https://support.github.com/ would be convenient since they can check your account's model access directly.
