Hi everyone,

I’m using GitHub Pro, and earlier I had access to Claude in GitHub. However, recently the Claude option has completely disappeared from my account.

I didn’t change my subscription or settings, and my GitHub Pro plan is still active. It was working before, but now it’s no longer available anywhere in the interface.

Has this feature been removed, moved, or limited to certain regions or accounts?
Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Any information or help would be appreciated.

you can check a few things that might help -

1. GitHub occasionally rotates which AI models are available on different plan tiers. So its possible claude's availability was adjusted
   for Pro accounts. You can check the latest model lineup in Settings → Copilot → Model selection (or directly in the copilot chat model picker dropdown).
2. Also some models have regional availability limitations that can change over time. If you're in a region where claude was recently restricted, that could explain the disappearance.
3. Try these quick steps:
   - Open GitHub copilot chat and click the model selector dropdown — see if claude appears as an option there.
   - Go to settings → copilot and check if there's a model policy or selection section.
   - Try signing out and back in, or clearing your browser cache cuz sometimes the UI just needs a refresh.
4. If none of the above helps, I'd recommend reaching out to https://support.github.com/ directly. They can check your account's
   entitlements and confirm whether Claude is expected to be available on your plan and in your region.
