Fixes a rendering failure on the HyperOS 3 / Android 16 Xiaomi 17 dual-screen series.
The main issue was an early crash caused by font initialization during surface setup. This change makes that path tolerant so rendering can continue instead of failing before anything is shown.
It also improves display and resolution selection on dual-screen devices by making main-display selection and fallback dimension handling more robust.
