I am suggesting for a native implementation of HDR display output. Unlike DirectX9, it is possible for a native implementation under DX11.

While no Valve title currently supports HDR display output officially, DX9 Source titles have been able to run through DXVK-HDR (alongside some minor .fxc shader patches to fix issues like color correction or sprite gamma) to achieve "native" HDR output with additional details that would otherwise be lost through an AutoHDR process.

Due to Strata making use of DX11, users are unable to achieve the same "native" HDR output as they would with a DX9 Source title running under DXVK-HDR.
Having run Portal 2 in HDR myself, there is an immense visual upgrade offered from the increased contrast and better tonemapping with native HDR output.

While it's true that a separate modder implementation through RenoDX is technically possible, the reverse engineering would make it challenging, game specific and also against the P2CE terms of service.
