Absolutely, but from my personal experience with this technique, it can get quite custom (and depending on the program you are live-reloading result in segfaults, but that probably happens only to me).

We might be better off letting the user write a Sublime Build System setup for this, instead of hard-coding a module name like haskell-mode does here, but nothing should prevent us from making it as easy as possible.

i'm not into the sublime plugin development, but is it possible to keep a cabal repl (aka ghci for the project) instance open and trigger there a reload?

Currently my five modularized cabal projects getting slow to compile in a shared sandbox. It's not a fault of this plugin, cabal build takes currently up to 20 seconds, just to spit out not in scope errors. There are serval unneeded recompilations and linkings processed by cabal, i guess. Or it's my setup and my fault, no clue (hints are welcome :) )

with cabal repl and a :reload, it's nearly instant, because the linking is only done once. Sure, the cabal repl session needs to be restarted if the .cabal file is changed, but this is not a too regular task.

@MaxDaten What you want sounds very much like hdevtools. Our hdevtools integration doesn't works quite as well as the ghc-mod and cabal ones, but the hdevtools section at the end of the Readme already works quite well for these cases.

Can you try that?

normal cabal builds with SublimeHaskell or with cabal build are working as expected.
